A New Normal: What Is Alzheimer’s Disease and How Do We Communicate? (YP)

The cognitive decline that occurs with Alzheimer’s Disease creates a confusing new reality for those affected. This “new normal” often leads to communication barriers that affect interactions with others. In this presentation, Mal Allard, Director of The Courtyard at Youville Place, will explore steps that caregivers can take to facilitate communication and reestablish a sense of common ground.
